Class Description
Would you like to learn how to make button holes? How to insert a zip? How to insert pockets in seams? Do you need to alter a pattern so that dream dress fits you perfectly?
Do you have an overlocker and are not sure how to use it, how to sort tension, how to thread it? Would you like to start making clothes for yourself or your loved ones? Do you have a pattern but don’t know where to start? Or did you get stuck with that shirt, waistcoat, trousers, jacket etc?
If you said yes to any of the above, then you are in the right place! Jitka is a very experienced seamstress and is ready to help you, guide you, teach you.
These sessions are pay as you go and all tools and sewing machines are provided, simply bring your pattern or project, fabric (we can help you choose from the shop if you don’t have any yet!) any trimmings, and lots of questions.

Just to sew things up…
Cutting mats, rulers, rotary cutters, scissors, threads etc are provided. You can use one of our Janome sewing machines or Janome overlockers or bring your own. We have lots of toile fabric, scrap fabrics, zips, bias, interfacing etc for you to practice on. And we will have tea, coffee, hot chocolate, water etc and biscuits ready for you.
