We’re a friendly, family-run fabric and haberdashery shop offering a handpicked selection of quality fabrics, threads, sewing supplies, and tools—perfect for quilting, dressmaking, embroidery, and more.
You can visit us in-store or browse our social media. We offer UK-wide delivery, local drop-offs within 10 miles, in-store collection, and even a personalised online fabric shopping experience over video calls. We don’t have an online shop as we believe that you need to see and touch fabric before buying, therefore you have the option of booking a video call with us to make any purchases.
Our creative studio hosts regular sewing workshops in Lichfield
These cover everything from patchwork and quilting to machine sewing, overlocker tutorials, embroidery, and dressmaking classes—ideal for complete beginners through to experienced makers. We welcome children from age 8+ and create a fun, supportive environment for all.

Crafting a Community
We’ve created The Fabric Vault to not only be an affordable place to get your hands on materials for all of your creative projects, but a helpful community of like-minded crafters. As well as our helpful workshop tutorials, we hold social gatherings in order to get to know others while working on projects, opportunities to show off your hard work and even room and sewing machine hire.
