🌟 We love teaching children to sew and watching their confidence grow as they realise just how much they can make for themselves.
Children can now learn with us in two different ways. They can choose from our stand-alone sewing lessons, picking individual projects and skills they would like to learn, or join one of our Children’s Sewing Courses, where the same small group works through a planned programme and builds their sewing skills step by step.
Both are taught in our small, friendly groups with a maximum of four children.
Our Children’s Sewing Courses are for children who would like to take their sewing further and build their skills over time.
Each course follows a planned curriculum, with projects chosen to introduce new techniques and build on skills learned before. Children also create their own Sewing Portfolio and, as their confidence grows, we encourage them to make more decisions, solve problems and become increasingly independent sewers.
For children aged 10+ who already know the basics of using a sewing machine and are ready to learn more.
For children aged 10+ who are Electively Home Educated. No previous sewing experience is needed, as this course starts with the sewing basics and progresses from there.

Our stand-alone lessons can be booked individually, so children can choose the projects that interest them and learn at their own pace. From first learning how to use a sewing machine to bags, patchwork, dressmaking and lots more, there is plenty to choose from.
