Poppies Project

A Community Celebration of Craft

Make Your Own Poppies

Whether you knit, crochet, sew, embroider, or enjoy experimenting with textile techniques, there are many ways to create poppies for the Poppies Project.

You are welcome to use any pattern or technique you prefer. Every handmade poppy helps contribute to this remarkable community project.

For those who would like a little inspiration, we also offer a selection of specially designed patterns created with the help of our talented knitting and crochet teachers.

Our Official Patterns

Our pattern collection currently includes a range of knitting, crochet, felt, and fabric poppy designs suitable for different skill levels.

The patterns have been designed to be easy to follow while encouraging creativity and personal interpretation.

Each pattern purchased helps support both the Poppies Project and The Royal British Legion.

£1 from every pattern sold is donated to The Royal British Legion.

How to Purchase a Pattern

Patterns can be purchased:

  • Online
