ā° Duration: 2 hours
Would your child love to learn how to use a sewing machine but doesn’t know where to start?
This beginner-friendly course is designed especially for children who are completely new to sewing. Over two fun and relaxed sessions, we’ll introduce the sewing machine step by step, helping children build confidence while learning important sewing skills.
š§µ We strongly encourage children to bring their own sewing machine, as the aim of this course is to help them become confident using the machine they will continue sewing with at home.
In this lesson, children will learn:
š§µ There is plenty of time for practising, asking questions, and building confidence at a comfortable pace.
By the end of the course, children will feel confident using a sewing machine and will be ready to progress to our next children’s sewing lessons.

š§µ Your sewing machine and instruction manual
āØ Patience and enthusiasm
Don’t worry if you’ve never used your machine before. This course is designed to help you become familiar with your own machine and build confidence using it.
We provide:
Just come along ready to learn, create, and enjoy sewing in a relaxed and welcoming environment.
š§µ Children aged 8ā12 years old must be accompanied by an adult during their first lesson. Please book one space only and let us know that an adult will also be attending.
š§µ If your child is older than 12 but may require additional support during lessons, please contact us before booking ā we will always do our best to help and discuss suitable arrangements.
